Depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and mental illness are recognized as the major health problems of today’s time in our society. It has been proved by medical science that emotions are responsible for our sickness. So, we need to have a proper control on them to avoid any kind of mental health problems.
Depression is called as the common cold in the categggory of mental illness and one of the main reason to worry. It has been researched by the World Health Organization that in the coming years depression will be one of the major reasons to death. By the time 202 mental illness will transit from 20th to the 2nd largest disease or illness in the world. Many mental illness can bbe cured with the help of all the spiritual books that we have in our society. Whether it is Bhagwad Gita , Bible or Quran – after all these are handbooks from God helping us overcome the hindrances of our live in an easier way. Where in the world there is so much of stress and mostly negative feedbacks- these books provide us a disciplinary guidelines to avoid degrading our mental health.
Fear is such a factor that none of us want to go through- but remember getting worried about something is also a kind of fear. We are all in the era of emotional fatigue and spiritual defeat.
Well I would not quote on any one book because I have read all three of them – Bhagvad Gita , Bible and Quran( here I would like to give a token of love and thank you to my parents for giving me this priviledge of brought is a family which believe in Secularism).
All the above mentioned books say just one thing: “ A mans’ thought transforms him in a similar way”. Everytime a new civilization came up , it was destroyed due to the thoughts towards life. If you are negative , you will be depressed. Our emotions are the cause of our depression and never forget we have been blessed by the Almighty wih a pious soul full of love, power and sound mind-so why to fear.
Lets set our minds on the Spirit of Life and attain Peace rather than on flesh.
Jesus said, “ Don’t worry about your tomorrow and never be anxious “. It is a waste to worry about your future and it is bad even more than future of fear.
So, how to avoid anxiety?
Trust God because this is the fundamentalconcept to overcome fear and any kind of negativity.
Go by these five points showered from all the three piou books –
- Feel the presence of the Lord and enjoy the fruit of this Spirit. It will give you immense please for lifetime. You can nourish this in your heart and cultivate it to the extreme level because nothing in this world matches to the “Spiritual feeling of the Almighty”.
- Trust on the Power of the Lord. There is nothing in this world or beyond this that the Almighty cannot do or solve for you. Don’t worry about what you don’t have right know – keep doing your job and keep praying to the Lord and share with him for what you need in your life. There is no misery that God cannot relieve for his children.
- Provision of the Almighty says to tell him everything that you have in your heart and thank him for what he has blessed you with. God even realises that his children sometimes forget on what he has given them and –believe me “God become Sad”. After all he too has a heart like us and that heart is ruling the Universe. So keep thanking him and sharing your sorrows without often becoming blinded with your own problems- and then see what miracle he creates for you- “Unimaginable, Spendid, Spellbound and a Wow in your Life”
- Rely on the Almights’ Peace to understand that he will guide your heart and mind. When you are shattered with fear, sorrow or even happy and confident still rely on Him . God will give you a synonomous peace which will be your greatest poccession for the rest of your life.
- Fix your thoughts and reflect of the Lords’ Plan. He saves and gives you the best that is instituted for the highest good of your life. He has a plan for you to help you prosper only and shine like a star.
These spiritual books tell us the purpose of our life with a constant application of positive word that is to be practised daily with a positive thinking . This is the real theraphy to mental illness and gives you the power to focus on positive thinking and overcome your fear. If you start working on these aspects serenity will become more deeper and you will definitely have a stable life.
You will yourself dump the mental illness and depression with a smile on your face.
